“School News” from Paul Willmott

Welcome to this first 2018 issue of “SCHOOL NEWS” and already we are into February. Did anyone else blink?
As the years have gone by, I have seen much change in the world of school assemblies. Recently I have become more aware that there can be fewer children in the hall. This was particularly apparent during a school visit a couple of weeks ago, as a noticeable number children were missing from the assembly hall.

Over the last 25 years, that I have been working as a Christian visitor in schools, I have always known that schools will often use assembly time for extra reading groups and now booster groups. This is valuable time to invest into those children who may be struggling or even those who need an extra challenge. Click below to see more news.
