We believe Jesus has given a vision to all those who seek to follow Him. In Luke 10 v 27 it says “love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and love your neighbour as yourself.”
So we, like all Christians, seek to first be lovers of God and then to share that love with others.
Some of the ways in which loving God and others should work it’s way out in our community are captured in these six aspirations that we hold.
As a church family we aspire to be…
A community that is Christ Centred
Our goal is to ensure that in all things and in all ways we have Christ at the centre of our lives, individually and as a church family. Jesus must take centre stage.
A community that is reaching outwards
We want to live in the selflessness of the gospel: simply, a life that aims to put others first.
A community with strong relationships
We are created by God to have strong, authentic relationships: This is essential in God’s Kingdom.
A community where everyone plays their part
Christ calls every member of the church family to participate in the establishing of His Church. We all have our part to play.
A community of whole life disciples
Our discipleship should affect every area of our lives, for example where we shop, how we spend our money and the nature of our relationships.
A community that recognises gifts and talents
It is our desire to recognise, encourage and release peoples talents and gifts for the benefit of those within and outside the church community.
