Prayer Walk Saturday 11th May
Prayer Walk Saturday 11th May

How beautiful on the mountains (streets and canals) are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns! (Isaiah 52:7 NIV)

Some of you may be aware that a number of evening Prayer Walks have taken place over recent months tracing routes into Kingswinford and from Kingswinford into Stourbridge in answer to a word Deb Jones had from the Lord.

Each evening a varying group of between 8 and 11 folk have split into groups of 3-4 and walked a medley of routes along and parallel to the A491 venturing into old and new areas as led, going through commercial and residential areas praying for families, communities, businesses, service providers, schools and churches.

As well as unseen results in the heavenly realms we’ve gained insight into the areas, enjoyed fellowship, and been blessed with growing deeper relationships; not to mention tea, coffee, drinking chocolate, cakes and biscuits as we’ve de-briefed and chatted afterwards

On Saturday 11th May at 4.30pm we begin our next walk at the Cross in Kingswinford to walk the direct route along the A491 into Stourbridge and ‘bring together’ the sections previously covered. We will finish with a meal in a local eatery. Lifts can be arranged back to Kingswinford to collect cars (or the other way around) if necessary. You can join for all or part of the walk.

If you would like to join with us or just want to talk about what we’ve been up to please speak to Deb Jones, Andrew or Ann White for more information.
