We wanted to let you know that as of Tuesday 17th March we have taken the decision to suspend all our services, activities and events for the foreseeable future.
In line with recent government guidelines we want to do our best to support those most at risk in the current crisis, and do our part to help the health care system as it tries to cope with the current epidemic.
We want to assure you that we have not taken this decision lightly, and not from a place of fear. We want to be responsible in how we respond in these times, and also bear a positive witness for Christ.
We appreciate that this decision will prevent many from meeting together, supporting one another, and being encouraged in the faith. We are currently working hard as a team to find ways and means to connect people and hopefully provide opportunities for practical and pastoral support.
Our most effective means of communication at the moment is our facebook group. We appreciate that there may be those amongst our church family who do not have access to the Internet, however, if at all possible we would encourage you to find a way to access this group as this will initially be the place where we do most of our communication. If you would like help with this then please get in touch with a member of the team, or leave a message on the church office answer phone.
We are planning a live stream this Thursday 19th March at 8.00pm, and would encourage you (if possible) to log on and watch the feed. This will be available on our facebook group.
In these times we must remember that the Gospel of Jesus Christ often flourishes and grows at times of trouble and suffering. Whilst remembering all of those who are directly affected by this outbreak, let us pray that the Gospel of Jesus expands in this season, and we see many come to Christ.
